So I normally give blood because I am blessed with a rare blood group. I cancelled my last donation because I had recently had my loading shots for low B12. After receiving a phone call from the donation service I was told there is no information about blood donation with pernicious anemia so I should be able to donate. Any thoughts on this?

I wonder to, I seem to remember someone giving blood then feeling dreadful afterwards on this forum.
I was diagnosed in 2014 and still donate blood so long as I feel well enough to.
According to the Welsh Blood service (different from the English so check there if that's where you're from) you can still donate so long as you're well enough on the day and if you're on the regular injections. You can't donate too soon after loading doses incase you have a reaction to them (or something like that anyway)
Hope this helps.
I actually looked into this. The nhs blood donation app has info on most illnesses.
It says for b12 def or pa, that if you are feeling well on the day, and managing on 12 weekly injections then you are fine.
If you have injections any more frequently they request you ring them for advise and to confirm you can give blood.
Hope this helps.
