Non specific gastritis, I’m not really sure what that means! 😏

Hi everyone,

I had a positive Intrinsic factor test 3 yrs ago along with a low b12 serum level, I was then diagnosed with PA (after many years of various symptoms) I had b12 loading doses then monthly injections ever since which eventually helped some of my symptoms.

Recently I’ve had oesophageal and stomach biopsies taken during endoscopy.

They found grade b oesophagitis and 2 chronic ulcers during endoscopy, my biopsy results were non specific gastritis.

Does anyone know if this means I don’t have autoimmune gastritis?

I’m finding it hard to get any information and was only given this info during a second endoscopy when I mentioned I hadn’t received any results.

I also had a negative H Pylori test.

Just as I think I’m starting to understand a little more about what ails me I find I haven’t got a clue really! 😂 I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling this way!

All the best of health to you all.

K. Xx
