I’m new ... I just need to know how you feel if you have high B12. It was over 2000 and I am to cut back on my b12 supplements. But I need to know if how I am feeling is because of the high b12.

High B12
how did you feel before you started taking B12?
Do you have any other conditions with overlapping symptoms? such as thyroid problems, or diabetes?
It is possible to have a B12 deficiency at the cell level but have high serum B12 and high serum B12 may be a factor in this. The symptoms of B12 deficiency with high serum B12 are recognised as an indicator of some conditions that can cause B12 levels to build up in the blood - eg some liver and kidney problems.
Are you taking folic acid? How much?
It’s a balance between B12 and folate.
Rather than cutting down the B12, increase the folic acid but not more than 5 mg.
Are you keeping a logbook of your symptoms?
My B12 was over 2000 because I was having injections but I was still getting symptoms. I now self inject weekly and have a lot more energy, my head feels clearer and I don’t get so much out of breath. My legs don’t feel heavy going upstairs and walking anymore. I still get prickly feelings like pins sticking in me and cramps sometimes
Is a level of B12 over 2000 dangerous? I thought the body got rid of excess via urination
I self inject once a week, and take Bio care 4 drops of liquid Methyfolate at the same time, plus a spray of Betteryou multi vits including all the B vits as they are required too.
My endocrinologist and immunologist prescribed as I'm underactive thyroid.
I have read you should have a banana for potassium as B12 depletes not sure on this
