Condition? Or do I need another doctors appointment? I have about 15 bruises on my inner thighs? Pic shows one side other side the same some on outer thigh 2 I’ve just counted 21 bruises? None anywhere else just legs, All yellowing now but no injury to get them there - only scratching a couple of days ago? Anyone else have this?
Hi Hidden If the "condition" you refer to is Pernicious Anaemia/Vitamin B12 Deficiency then the following article may help.

If you read down to "Signs and Symptoms" it says "... It may also cause easy bruising or bleeding, including bleeding gums."
Personally I am not medically trained and have never experienced "easy bruising" in 46 years of P.A. and I cannot guarantee the authenticity of the article.

Yes, I had this happen to me! Spontaneous, light bruises that just appeared, no trauma of any kind involved – looked exactly like your photo. Bruises didn't really hurt and were very light. With me they were just at the inside tops of both thighs.
They went after using B12 patches (unfortunately I didn't realize at the time that taking B12 would skew any blood tests! – I've not been diagnosed with a deficiency [yet], am currently working out how to approach this with my Dr as I gather UK Drs want to just go by test numbers rather than symptoms, and my test numbers will be misleading ...)
At the same time as the bruising I have all-over itching, which started well before the bruises and has not gone, despite the B12 patches. Do you also have any itching?
Hello and thanks for the reply yes! I do!! No idea why but I have itches those area’s - I’m in hospital at the moment with a bad back and just shown nurse and more have appeared
Over night! Some really dark so now have about 26/30 bruises all over legs! I’m baffled as I’ve had 6 loading doses of B12 now so that should be normal now?
Seems like everyone is different, mine went with B12 supplement patches (but not with tablets) and I haven't seen any sign of them since – but other symptoms remain.
Did your bruises start before you started your loading doses, or since?
This is 1 week after last loading dose?
Hi @glinks! your post is 6 years old, and I just stumbled on it. Because i've had itching all over for a few weeks and now have those small bruises on my thighs and back! Did you ever figure out what it is??? I just went to get some bloodwork today... thanks for any info.
I bruise on my inner thighs too. Like yours, they're little bruises. I just can't work out what I do to cause them as it isn't an obvious place to catch! I'm on blood thinners, so just assumed that was the cause, although if I get a bruise elsewhere, I generally know how I've done it. Oh, the kids do like to speculate as to the cause of the bruises - kids, you're wrong pmsl.
Ài had that as well. I dont know why. I dont think my b12 levels are bad though

I had this before I had treatment. Mainly on legs but began to get them on arms as well.
