Solgar gentle iron dosing

Hi,

I have been taking 20mg solgar for the last few months one per day.

I thought that I would have seen more than a slight improvement by now but just wondering if I need to up my dose. Any ideas?

Have you been tested for h pori? It is a root cause of b12 and iron absorption issues.

Additionally i have read if you are vitamin A deficient that interferes with iron ansorbtion.

Thanks for your reply and the link. Yes tested negative for hpylori.

Currently self injecting b12 and taking 5mg folate and 20mg of solgar gentle iron and 175mcg Levothyroxine.

Ferritin was about 17 last time tested but when I've checked my other ferritin results it's always been low, So trying to increase it with the solgar rather than ferrous fumerate as I can't tolerate that well.
