I have started to develop unexpected outbursts of inappropriate language. Luckily this happens mainly when I am on my own at home. Can anyone tell me if this will get worse.

I am currently taking B12 injections could the inappropriate language be caused by this?

I suspect we all have 'bouts of inappropriate language' in the privacy of our own homes at times! However, if you are describing tourettes-type symptoms, then no, it's not the B12. Go talk with your GP, if you're worried x

Hi, I second Spacey1 - suggest a visit to the GP.

My close relative with severe B12 deficiency, misdiagnosed and untreated so had built up over years , eventually had these symptoms even though it was completely out of character for her.

I personally would be very wary of consulting GP on this, as the surgery eventually used the neurological and psychiatric symptoms of B12 def. to say it was a mental health problem, stopped her injections and treated with antipsychotics only, ignoring all her physical symptoms.

Bear in mind that a diagnosis of mental illness generates high income for a surgery........

I did not know that. My opinion of NHS doctors has deminished soooo far that I find it is almost impossible to speak to them. They misdiagnosed treat you with Cack and then tell you it is best for you.
