you can get nasal sprays and sublingual sprays - think that the sprays mentioned by others are sublingual sprays.
Studies show that the amounts absorbed from sublinguals in people with B12 absorption problems is about 1% - with sprays and tablets being pretty much of a muchness. Nasal sprays seem to be a bit better with average absorptions around 4%.
Absorption for oral tablets is generally around 1% - just lower than sublinguals.
Sublinguals, nasal sprays and skin patches are classified as vitamin supplements so tend not to be covered by prescription only rules where these are in place (eg UK, US, NZ).
Not come across nasal sprays in high-street stores - just on line suppliers.
The above are averages - some people will have higher absorption and some lower ... and so sprays don't necessarily work for everyone but it is worth giving them a try.
I, personally, use a sublingual liquid B12 by Solgar, quite expensive but I find it better than the spray. Can get it from Holland and Barrett, Solgar themselves or amazon. H and B being the more expensive. Only throwing this in the mix as I know everyone is different but may be worth a try if others don’t seem to work,
