Adrenaline Rush

Perhaps more informative than a question but it would be interesting to know if others have experienced this.

For some years I have not experienced an adrenaline rush, even at times when you would most expect this. I talked to my neurologist about this some weeks ago.

He said that it was not uncommon for B12 deficient patients to start experiencing brief rushes after around a year of intensive treatment and this is a clear indication of repairing nerve damage.

I experienced this and wonder if others too have lost these rushes only to regain them after about a year of treatment.

I've suffered occasional adrenaline rushes for the last 25 years. I was involved in a car accident where a motorcyclist lost control on the corner of a country road. Unfortunately I was coming in the opposite direction just as he slid onto my side of the road.

Ever since then the sudden appearance of a motorbike, even if I'm the passenger, causes a sudden rise in heart rate, hair standing up in the back of my neck and a coppery taste in my mouth.

It still does it to me now, but I can't recall if it happened while I was B12 deficienct, or soon after. But I can't remember a lot from those days.
