Serum Folate

My Serum Folate was 7.9 ug/1...( 3.1-20.0) before I was diagnosed and started injecting...how long should I wait to be tested again... Test done 12th June.. Diagnosed 29th... Started injecting 10th July every other day since.... ☺... Cheers

whilst the body does store a little folate the stores are minimal - and its quite responsive to diet - but could drop if your body is now doing using more folate because processes that weren't running because you didn't have enough B1 are now running again.

not aware of any limitations on frequency of measuring levels, other than if you can afford it (assuming you are paying yourself).

Cheers Gambit ☺... Yeah didn't know if I was or wasn't low.. But thought I'd take a bit extra now I'm injecting every other day... I bought a good Folate from my health food store ( not folic acid.)... Just 400ug 1a day... Should that be enough or to much 🤔... Thanks for getting back to me ☺....
