Contraceptive pill

Have come off my contraceptive pill for this first time in years and my symptoms have all got a lot worse, particularly blood pooling, numbness and itching forearms. I'm also waking up early ravenous and more achy than usual. Anyone have any suggestions?

not sure what you mean by blood pooling

I get more numbness in my hands and feet during some parts of menstral cycle due to effects of water retention - meaning that carpal tunnel and tarsal tunnel are more restricted.

I found that keeping my B12 levels right has helped me dealing with hormonal symptoms. There is some evidence that artificial progesterone can interfere with metabolism of B12 but coming off the pill would be acting in the opposite direction.

Suspect what you are seeing is actually hormones starting again.

I cannot help with a reply I'm afraid but I'm very interested in responses you get as was meant to switch to mini pill in a couple of months but have decided to come off it altogether as don't want to risk anymore changes to the way I feel than have already been experiencing.
