assuming that you aren't based in the UK - not come across sublingual liquid as a recommended treatment. What dose are you taking?
if you have an absorption problem just using sublingual is going to be a really slow process and may not work - you really need some sort of 'loading' protocol - general some injections to raise blood levels quickly.
How long depends on exactly what systems and process have been affected by the deficiency. Anaemia will take a few months to reverse, nerve damage will take a lot longer.
thank you .I am taking 1000mcg mcg 2 times a day.my levels have come up but the nerve damage is still horrible. does it run in familys do you think?my Dr doesnt really know much about it.
1000mcg is about 400x the amount you need eachday - sounds like you need loading doses.
There are a number of conditions that can cause a B12 deficiency - some of which do run in families - eg Pernicious Anaemia, Coeliacs, crohn's.
