Hi, anyone taken Yakult? Surgery nurse suggested it but evidence online seems 50/50 as to it's benefit. Just wondered if anyone with PA had taken it and found it made any difference.
thanks

I did for years and just got "fed up" with it and now take a probiotic capsule with all my oter pills. Yakult is best straight out of the refrigerator and tastes OK. I've had P.A. for 45 years.
I've found that one capsule of Bio-Kult every other day works better than anything else.
I've always been a bit dubious of shop bought probiotic drinks. I think that the bacteria in them start to die off within a couple of days, so if it's been sat on a supermarket shelf for a while, there might not be enough in it to make a difference. I make my own yogurt and it gets eaten within a couple of days, so I know it's still active - and its a heck of a lot cheaper and much tastier than shop bought stuff.
Thanks all, I guess I'll try it, give it a go see if it does anything, if not i'll try your other suggestions
I used to make my own milk kefir... was almost addicted to it... I think it helped..

Since becoming g/f and taking Biona Organic Sauerkraut, all the digestive problems I was plagued with for years resolved, hopefully resulting in a healthier biome and no more treatment for h/pylori. You'll see from the above that home made sauerkraut and yoghurt is much better though as it's not pasteurised.
