That's a very interesting piece - thank you for posting it.
You beat me to it, Steap! IT is hot off the presses having just been released in the US on 11 May 2017.
I have only had time to skim it so far, but on this quick look it appears to be an excellent article in bringing together a massive amount of scientific research, studies etc over the years (detailed in the references) , updating it to the here and now, and may well become the 'go to' article for the near future. While a US based article it still recognises and covers the situation in the UK, different type of B12 etc.
Calling all Admins etc - Gambit62, taka, Foggyme, PAS-admin, Sleepybunny and clivealive. Also fbirder, you will definitely be interested.
Would love your comments on this article.
It's still early in the morning, so I've just skimmed it. First impression - I'm impressed!
The diagrams alone make this exceptionally useful. The summary of treatment recommendations should be given to every medic, with the important points (maintenance doses monthly; no reason not to treat more frequently if the patient requires it) highlighted.
I look forward to reading it in full.
have bookmarked just on the basis of the summary - will have a look at the rest at some time but not sure when as not much time at the moment.
Thank you for posting this article, very interesting. One I will be sharing with my Dr. 👍🏼😀
Thank you !

Hi Steap. Had a quick scan of this and agree with Fbirder. Looks excellent and I'll certainly be including it in my items to share in the forum.
Anticipate that it will be good for people trying to get treatment from reluctant GP's. The fact that it's written by a haematologist should make GP's sit up and take note - though that might be debatable given the horror stories we regularly read on the forum.
Printed and looking forward for a full read later, when I have more time.
Thanks for posting 😀
