It looks to me as if mechanism is entirely missing.
Strikes me that although the eventual effects might be the same, there is a world of difference between those that reduce ability to digest and absorb against those that impact the B12 already in the body. I am thinking nitrous oxide - but couldn't see that in the list!
I'm so grateful for these links as I discovered that both HRT and Asprin have been affecting th amount of cofactors! I've been wondering why I was feeling better on a large dose of folate, some p5p and iron and large b12!
Thanks, it's a great link. I've been on inhalers all my life, prednisone on many occasions and the last five years omeprazole (the only one I knew that would deplete). Makes me wonder if putting myself through an gastroscopy and colonoscopy on Friday was rather pointless!
Fluticasone Depletes b12 😱Didn't know that till now, I'm on a high dose of that for the last 20 years
Don't worry, you weren't the only one. Indeed, I've not been able to find anybody else in the whole world that knew that fluticasone depletes B12. Indeed, I've not been able to find anyone who even suspects that might be so.
That's this list isn't very useful - there are no references, so it's really difficult to check any of the entries.
Personally, I shall be ignoring it.
pottassium chloride is found in Lo Salt .... I stopped having it with food a few years ago.
