Cheers clivealive for ur reply no I don't supplement can't afford to if I ad to lol.doctor as put me on folic acid 5mg tablets, then he will c me in 3 months.
We can only naturally obtain Vitamin B12 by eating animal products such as red meat, fish, seafoods, poultry, eggs and dairy produce and (as you say) you haven't supplemented yet your level has gone up I can only surmise that you include these in your daily diet and that you don't have an absorption problem with your digestive system.
This leads me to query why your Folate level at 2.1ug/L-----3.9-26.8ug/L was so low. We get Folate naturally from eating leafy green vegetables, sprouts, broccoli. asparagus, spinach, beans, peas etc. In addition many breakfast cereals are "fortified" with folic acid so "if you don't have an absorption problem with your digestive system" are these items not included in your daily diet?
