Hi Everyone, I've been diagnosed with PA since 2003, it's the hereditary type that my mother and grandmother had. I'm lucky to have a Nurse Practitioner that allows me to inject my own B12 every week. I'm thankful to be part of this group.

Hi ShirelyElaine. Hello and welcome. Lovely to have a new forum member.
And how marvellous it ii to have a supportive nurse who lets you do your own injections...and weekly too. I expect you'll realise that that's quite rare if you've been reading the posts here 😄.
You've had PA for sometime so your probably quite knowledgable by now. But it's worth having a read of the PAS pinned posts to the right of the page when you log on (or at the bottom if,you're using a phone)...especially if there's anything you're worried about or having a problem with.
In the meantime, there are lots of lovely folks here ready to support you with help or advice...or just pop in whenever you feel like a chat.
Take care 👍

Hi ShirleyElaine well done for joining us here and giving us some positive news about your ability to self inject.
Just one question - do you know what your Folate level is? A "healthy" Folate level is essential to process the B12 you are injecting and will get "used up" in doing so.
