Hello😊 im new to all this. Got diagonesd with pa last year. Allso aurtistic so all this very confuseing. Had blood tests again.gp isnt happy .thinks 3 months my be to long to wate between shots.had one before chistmas.started feeling unwell 2 weeks ago. They said it wll be a week for results .it feels like forever.

Your doctor should be be injecting you at least every 8 weeks according to the B.N.F. Guidelines below,

"The BNF advises that for Pernicious anaemia and other macrocytic anaemias patients presenting with neurological symptoms should receive 1000 μg i.m. on alternative days until there is no further improvement, then 1 mg every 2 months".

He should also check your Folate level as this is essential to process the B12.

Even if your blood tests don't show that the levels in your blood have fallen you may still need B12 more frequently.

Please do get hold of a copy of the test results and share them with you - if you need any advice on what numbers from the report may be important then please just ask.
