Hi Newberryk how are you feeling? Have your symptoms improved sufficiently to now only need to have injections every 8 to 12 weeks?

If a blood test were to be taken now it would only be of use if the serum B12 level came out LOW whereas normally it would be expected to be high.

Have you been supplementing with Folic acid whilst having the injections? Do you know what level it was at?

Yes I feel so much better not so weak and tired all the time I have good days and bad days Iv been taking folic acid once a day last time I had my b12 levels checked it had improved from my first result of 95 the doctor did tell me what it actually was just said it was lower than 150 so I'm in the dark about that think my folate was still low first result. Was 2.78 she didn't say what the last result was Iv been referred to have a camera to check my stomach to see if there's a problem there why I'm not absorbing b12 the doctor said to give it a couple of weeks see how I feel if I start to feel ill again I'm to go back straight away

sounds like a sensible GP - after you have started treatment the serum B12 test is pretty meaningless unless it comes back low and NICE guidelines are not to follow up with further testing unless there is a suspicion of non-compliance (which isn't particularly relevant if you are receiving shots). Need to go on symptoms.
