Has anyone found B12 improved their PF? I can't find any studies relating the two, but mine seems to have improved since I started using patches... could be coincidence, of course.
Plantar fascitis: Has anyone found B1... - Pernicious Anaemi...
Plantar fascitis
I'm not aware of a connection, but perhaps someone else will come along with a reference.
PF does sometimes seem to resolve by itself. My husband had it, but after a two or three years of using gel insoles in his shoes the problem disappeared.
mine certainly resolved with B12.
Suggest you try looking up 'tarsal tunnel' - similar to carpal tunnel but affecting the foot.
There are two possible effects of a B12 deficiency that could contribute - one is degredation of the protective sheath around nerves running down into the foot - the other is weakening of muscles in the foot leading to fallen arches.
mine got really bad after I was diagnosed but improved no end when I started to really get the levels of B12 that I needed.
Yes mine too got better after B12 also bursitis of the thigh went away with injections of B12.
Same here, my plantar fasciitis got better after B12 and it lets me know if I need another shot! Definite connection for me.
That's really helpful feedback, thank you all of you. Some reports on the internet of vit D deficiency co existing with plantar too, and responding when the deficiency is treated. But with me the high levels of B12 supps is the big change, and Gambit's dual hypothesis may also explain why I developed severe RSI in my arms around the turn of the century.
Yes, mine is completely gone. Before my B12 shots I could barely put weight on my left foot. It took me a while to connect B12 level with my resolved foot pain. Amazing stuff.
Question: The B12 injections were they put on what part of your body? I read on other web site that on calf muscle or other part of body?
