An interesting question on "The Chase" (ITV 1) tonight

"Where in the digestive system is Vitamin B12 processed?"

Option 1 "in the duodenum"

Option 2 "In the jejunum"

Option 3 "in the Ileum"

Needless to say the contestant got the answer wrong - I wonder if he was a doctor.

None of the above - the duodenum, jejunum and ileum are not in the stomach/parts of the stomach! As illustrated by your, umm, illustration. :-)

Perhaps I'll have to change it to "digestive system"?

I took it as their wording! No way would I have quibbled in a pedantic way with you. :-)

I can't now remember the exact wording of the question except the three options but it's best for it to be accurate for the folks on here.

Thanks and goodnight

But did the chaser get it right? One of them, Paul Sinha, used to be a junior doctor.

The Chaser 'The Beast' guessed the answer and guessed right.

I would have loved to see the "Sinhaman" get it wrong bit it was the "Beast" guessed it right.

Just imagine though all those millions of people "out there" now know the answer too :)

I like Paul and the Beast but my favorite is Frosty Knickers.

It's a great show for that time of the day and Bradley Walsh is Super Duper Fun.
