Hi Everyone,

Paul at Blue Horizon Medicals here.

<admins - please edit or delete as you see fit>

We have just released a super little profile for advanced B12 testing as a fingerprick/vacutainer kit. We're trying to get as much traction for it with the lab as the more volume we can promise the lab at this stage the better contract price we'll be able to get, resulting in better savings for our patients.

Inclusions....

Vitamin B12 - Active (Holotranscobalamin)

Normal B12 - Regular (Colobalamin)

Folate (Vitamin B9)

Haemoglobin

MCV (Mean Cell Volume)

You can read a little more about it on my blog

bloodtests.uk/vitamin-b12-a...

or see it on the blue horizon website

bluehorizonmedicals.co.uk/V...

and if you want to get £10 off the already reduced price please use code b12pas with no capitals or spaces.

Web Price £149

Reduced this month to £99

Available to you with code b12pas at £89 until the end of the month. Every time the code is used we'll donate £5 to the Pernicious Anaemia Society

Any questions, please call us on 0800 999 1110 and we'll do our best to help.

Many thanks,

Paul.

I suspect this may break the HealthUnlocked T&Cs - I'll check, but it may take a while.

Any info on accuracy and precision? Is it an immunoassay test for B12 that can be affected by high levels of anti-IF antibodies?
