Has she been taking a B12 supplement. unfortunately MMA won't necessarily give an accurate reading if she has.

Yes, if the MMA was tested while on the sublinguals it does not give any info. So 'they' cannot say it's not B12. If she was feeling better with the sublinguals, the just continue them.
