Hi and welcome, youve not really given enough info to give you a good answer.

What were your original symptoms and what reaction did you have after your injection?

Bearing in mind that many people comment on how they actually feel worse before they start to show any improvement.

Ideally you need to find out what exactly it was in the shot that caused the reaction - ie are you intolerant to any of the ingredients in the injection - in which case switching to another brand might help.

It would also help to know exactly what type of B12 you were given - cyano, hydroxo or methyl? People can actually respond differently to different types of B12 ... and there can be some genetic interactions that can cause some quite severe responses to methyl B12- if the injection was methyl - though think it was more likely to have been cyano or hydroxo.

Hi it was hydroxo I have to go back to the doctors tomorrow so I will get him to do tests to see what it is I'm allergic to in the injection.

Thanks

Hi it seems unlikely that you had a reaction to the hydroxocobalamin. Once the injection is given it is released slowly into the system over a three month period if you were allergic to it your symptoms would not have cleared up quickly you would be still having them .... you need to put this to you doctor. Good luck.

Sorry, but your post is complete nonsense. Where on earth have you got the idea that the hydroxo is released over a three month period?
