Going to the Dr today what should ask the Dr. today

I have gained so much weight I think I will ask for blood test any suggestion

Maybe you need your thyroid testing too. Low B12 and Low thyroid often go together....

I agree with Marz on that one Yole.

Low Thyroid (Hypothyroidism) and B12 Deficiency mimic each other.

Ask for a printout of your thyroid results and other bloods done and pop them up on Thyroid Uk (on here, Health Unlocked.)

Doctors are known for saying your thyroid bloods are

'NORMAL/ OK/nothing wrong with you, but you can still have thyroid symptoms presenting within the 'normal' range.

Similar to when Doctors miss the 'grey area' of B12 Deficiency.

well I went to the Dr. and now he is leaving so now I have to find another pc., I feel like my B12 shots are not helping, does anyone feel tired or sick after the shot?

Ask for a printout of your last set of bloods from your new Doctor or receptionist, or you can buy your own home blood test finger prick tests on line, (we have used them, easy to do) and put the results up on both PAS and Thyroid Uk as some members can see the grey areas which Doctors do not acknowledge.
