B12 and RA

Hi, I have low Vitamin B12 and parietal cell antibodies and am due to start injections tomorrow. My GP thinks this is linked to RA, got a Rheumy appointment next week but would be interesting to know if others have this.

Thanks

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

On the old PAS forum there were others with RA and PA, unfortunately having one autoimmune condition can mean you may have (or get) more. I've had some tests for RA, negative for RF factor, did have raised CRP, I do not know if my burning hip joints were RA related or something ells, my then GP said it makes no difference the treatment is the same.

Good luck with the Rheumy appointment,

Kind regards,

Marre.

Thanks Marre, I'll let you know what Rheumy says about it all, they may have more info than the drs!
