Private b12 injections
Yes, it's possible - can't recommend anywhere but think that there was someone from your part of the world who took that option - but it can end up being hugely expensive for no real understandable reason as the B12 itself only costs about 70p. Some people end up paying around £100 a go.
yes, you will need to see a GP privately (you can do this at Nuffield Hospitals cost circa £ 90..you will have a blood test circa £70) I don 't know what the injections cost, as at this point I pulled out, and decided to self inject . You can buy Hydroxocobamalin(the name given to the B12 that the NHS uses) very reasonably online from Goldpharma in Germany. Needles and syringes you can get in UK. Instruction for how to inject you can get from utube I have been self injecting for nearly a year now. I'm away from home at the moment so I haven't got exact information with me. But I think that self injection is the answer. Very much cheaper and you will find out quickly how often you need to inject. I would never have believed that I would be able to do it . You will no doubt get more precise advice from other members. We have such a marvellous lot of supportive friends here! The very best of luck!

Dear Chocolate 41
Just google goldpharma sc and you will get straight onto the site in English. Then search for Hydroxocobalamin and you will get several options. Some 1mg ampoules come in a1ml solution and some in 2ml. Needles and syringes you can get at medisupplies.co.uk.Also the alcohol swabs and the yellow box you need for disposing of the used needles. Sorry I was late with the info. All the best to you.
