Does anyone know the advantage of infusion over injection?

I heard that it is more calming, gentle etc but at the end of the day, you just need 1mg of B12 in your system regardless of delivery system. Yes, it's nice if it's calming but the cost! Surely, not many people can afford it often and some of us need more frequent injection for a start. So what is the point?

Also, I don't know how much of B12 is added to the infusion bag but I'd imagine may be 1mg together with xx mg of magnesium?
