Does anyone burp a lot? I was diagnosed in 2010 and recently started burping throughout the day. it happens with or without food or drink.

I was just wondering if this was another Parkinson's perk. If so, this would be a Parkinson give rather than the usual take, but equally annoying. :-(.

I think I heard another on this forum saying about this! Perhaps I get this too? Very difficult to be sure if a burp is like you describe or if it's normal. Hmm!

I have noticed the same thing.Some days seem to be worse than others, and I also seem to have indigestion and heartburn a lot. Thought it might be from all the meds.???

It is best to see a doctor about this. I had the same problem and it turned out wasn't related to PD at all. It was an h.pylori infection which is very common. It cleared up as soon as I was treated for it.

Yes all the . I don't know but I think it help my food go down .Try Magnesium /Hydroxide .

Its helps, take about 15 to 20 ml.

I have this problem in a minor way. I think that when i drink something I am unintentionally swallowing air from nerves or because my swallowing muscles are weakened.

I suggest altering way you drink. Try using a straw, or if you already do, stop using a straw.it helped me to change.

Hi Terry perhaps you have got what i have an HIATUS HERNIER which is in the chest if i dont take my Medication i am burping all day get it checked out nothing to lose
