I began taking D3 with K2 daily in Aug.

D3 is 10,000 IU, K2 is110 mcg.

I take such a high dose of D because my blood work showed it at such a low level (32) in Aug. My latest test has shown an increase to (65) in Oct.

If/when I get to my D goal of (80), I will reduce to 5000 IU daily.

I take at night for no particular reason. I have not noticed any difference in any PD symptom or

any other difference but I wasn’t expecting to notice anything overt.

Most people with Parkinson's disease are deficient in Vitamin D but you should get blood work done to see your level. Too much Vitamin D is toxic to your body. You can get Vitamin D naturally by getting outside every day but if your levels are low it may not be enough.

Like chrisz, I originally had a low Vitamin D level (27) in April. It was 73 in August. Since April, I've been taking an Apex Energetics product each morning. 5,000 iu of D3; 650 iu of Vitamin A; 125 mcg of Vitamin K. Along with B1, B3 (Tru Niagen), a B multivitamin, omega 3 tablets, turmeric, and resveratrol, among others, the Vitamin D has helped feel better now than when I was diagnosed in May. I have not had any adverse side effects...

I take Bio-D-Mulsion Forte. It was recommended by Dr. Mischley after she looked at my blood work. I take 5 drops every night (Vit D is a hormone, best to take at night) with Vit K1/2 (Life Extension brand Super K) and a little fish oil (Vit K needs fat with it). Vit D should be taken with Vit K.....Vit K should be taken with a little fat. Symbiotic, baby.
