I discovered the other day that magnesium stops my internal tremors does it help others?

I am annoyed my neurologist did not mention it.

Research has shown it to be important.

Cheers

Your neurologist probably doesn't even know about it!

I take it too:)

Why don't they know about it? It is disgraceful. Thanks for replying.

Because people may get well?

😳

Just speculation. I really don't know. I don't think they are taught things like this in medical school

Yes I think you are right and the medical guidelines don't allow it (pharma controlled). Dr Sircus.com is interesting on the subject.

What type of Mg are you both taking, Mg carbonate or Mg citrate?

Bitsy profile image
Bitsy in reply to nourilo

I am taking Magnesium citrate but I have just ordered Magnesium L. Threonate (Life Extension) which is supposed to go through the blood brain barrier. Iodine is supposed to be important too.

Boron: An essential mineral that improves absorption of calcium and magnesium

Thanks Roy much appreciated I saw mention of Boron in an earlier post and haven't had time to investigate it. Cheers

in reply to Bitsy

dose: 6 mg of boron

Arthritis: Boron is an option for arthritis and in more than 95% of cases significant improvement was noticed by bringing about effective calcium integration into the cartilage and bone. In a study of 20 patients with osteoarthritis, the 50% who received a daily supplement of 6 mg of boron all reported improvement (less pain on movement), compared to only 10% who reported likewise in the control group. Another mechanism is found in boron’s ability to inhibit prostaglandins and leukotrienes which are mediators in inflammatory conditions.

Reduces the severity of rheumatoid arthritis: Boron greatly reduces the inflammatory conditions that are typically associated with rheumatoid arthritis.

Dr Sircus.com says it is very effective to apply magnesium topically i.e. through the skin.

Dr Sircus.com observed "Many times the medical system just gives up on a patient and that is often a blessing freeing one to choose more effective and safer natural treatments." Cheers xo

I had stumbled upon a lot of research showing Mg was important and posted 5 months ago and there were several replies:

healthunlocked.com/parkinso...

I'm trying different stuff all the time, so I can't tell if the magnesium helps my essential type tremors or the PD-type tremor.
