Hot water bottle...I know it's not a low energy hygiene product but it really helps when I'm in agony and don't have energy to to do very much at all, like today!
Great post, thank you. I've given it quite some thought over the last couple of days.
I've got a large number of flannels for washing and drying myself and they can all just go in the wash when I'm under less pressure. I know it's old fashioned but they have less impact than throw away things. Sometimes lugging a whole towel about is too much but I can manage a small flannel.
If I can't manage to wash my hair I tie it back and hope it doesn't look too terrible and just wash my fringe to be more presentable!
Medicine storage boxes- some can carry medicines adequate for over 2 weeks. Saves the trouble of removing meds each time it is needed. I use it for my PERT meds and diabetic meds. If taking insulin, insulin carry bags like Frio insulin cooling case can also help keep it close or whilst travelling.
I use a shower brush or puff ball on a stick, so I don't have to lean over too much when I'm well enough to shower.
I find if I'm in bed, I'll move to the couch and vice versa. No matter how I try, if I stay in bed or on the couch too long, I tend to get stiff. So, when I put a cup of hot water in the microwave for some hot herbal tea, I switch to a new location.
