Negative biopsy but Dr doesn't believe it

My mum (aged 73) had surgery today to remove a tumour from her pancreas. They were unable to remove the tumour due to large blood vessels, but they took several biopsies which all came back as non cancerous; however, the surgeon doesn't believe that it isn't cancerous ..... Where do we go from here ? Very confused and very scared !

I bet you are confused and scared. Regular blood tests can indicate if something is wrong.Hopefully they will be keeping an eye on your mum too.
