I need your insights regarding a pain on my left side rib cartilage part?. Its has a non visible lump as you can see but if touched it hurts and when i move on a daily basis it is a bit painful. I usually have back massages and its within the cartilage linings so im wondering what other medical symptoms this may be or this is simply just a pulled muscle or something. Thanks for your insights

Sometimes cartilage can slip or become inflamed. There is something called slipping rib syndrome. Are you hypermobile? It could be that the ribs have moved and your cartilage is inflamed, or it could be a pulled muscle. It is not uncommon for some people to have problems like this, there is a lot of connective tissue between and beyond the ribs.
Sorry that you are experiencing pain in your rib. A health care professional would be best placed to advise you on why you are experiencing the pain/ symptoms, so I encourage you to seek medical advice.
It may also be that others on the forum have similar personal experiences to share so I'll leave your post up in case. I hope your symptoms ease soon for you.
