hi everyone, I’m suffering with chronic upper body pain and looking for others who have similar symptoms. It’s been on and off for a few years but the last 6 months have been particularly bad. It’s mostly my arms, hands and fingers (usually left side but can affect both) but can also be behind my shoulder blades, in my shoulders and my neck. Occasionally my jaw and chest but not so often. Sometimes it’s everywhere, sometimes it’s really localised like in one finger. As I suffer from ectopics (which I’ve previously been told are benign) I’m constantly convincing myself there’s something wrong with my heart. Is there anyone with similar symptoms? Have you had any kind of diagnosis? Thanks you

Just a quick reply, do you take tablets as some drugs can cause muscle weakness with pain. Pays to check prescriptions and patient leaflets. Hope this helps.
sorry to hear about your pain. My pinched nerve in neck causes similar symptoms. I have arthritis in my neck. The symptoms do feel alot like heart problem. I had no idea pain was coming from my neck. I would check with dr to rule out heart and see arthritis specialist. Feel better. Arthritis can be seen on xrays.
