It seems just lately that everytime I visit my GP, they discover something wrong.....
I've been diagnosed with CPS and symptoms of Fibro. They have prescribed Nefopam 60mg with paracetamol top up. Not working. Back on docs on Thursday to let them know this. Before, I was on Neproxen and paracetamol, with patches. But gradually, I seemed to have grown this allergy towards them. Leaving horrid burn marks..Not sure why...They weren't doing much anyway. What painkillers work best for you?

Is TMS where they put some type of device on your head? I know my mental health clinic offers something like that..not sure if the letters are the same.
Summertime is the worst for me having fibro...I take Flexeril for the intense muscle spasms. My doctor has me on Savella, a new Fibromyalgia medication the helped somewhat..she increased the dosage but never okayed the prior authorization, so I don't know if it would have helped or not.., The doctor selection where I live, who take Medicaid, because I am on disability, is horrible. Basically, I deal with it..My man works out the knots in my muscles for me..that helps better than anything. Not many choices for us
Thank you. I think you nailed when you said you get on with it. My doc told me about a group that meets up. And basically she said don't get, as you get up and get on with stuff.
Haven't tried any Homeopathy at all, but the meds you have mentioned, if the Nefopram and others don't kick in, I will deffo go marching to the docs and say.. hey....these please..
ANd thank you so much for taking time out to reply. I really appreciate this.
You are most welcome!! Anything to try help with this horrible syndrome. Yes, ask her about the Savella, it starts at 10mg twice a day...Flexeril as needed, for me anyway, if I take them too close together time wise..I get restless leg Hope it helps you
