Hot feeling knee

I keep getting a hot feeling in my knee, with a bit of ache in my leg. No swelling or redness on the outside, just the feeling of heat and aching on the inside. Has anyone had this before? Thanks

I would check it out with the doctors.

I was diagnosed as having raised uric acid and a form of gout. I don't drink and good diet. The flare-ups have stopped but your GP may refer you to rheumatology.

It could be bursitis… but you should see a doctor if it get worse … apply ice.

Hi Ker2cr

I am a forum moderator at Pain Concern and have just been reading your post ( I am sorry for the delayed reply).

If your knee has not resolved itself and you haven't been to your GP, may I suggest that tis is almost certainly the best course of action or failing that perhaps attending MIU as the symptoms could be indicative of an infection.

Best wishes
