Swelling on left rib cage near stomach.

Hi there. I have swelling on my rib cage near stomach below breast. It feels like a dull ache. The pain has spread to other ribs even in my breast and left arm. Whenever i go to Dr. They say ots a mascular pain but its been 3 months now. Its not getting better. I am very worried. I did an X ray and i showed a blanck black circle in the swelling area. Nothing else . I am worried 😭

I am sorry to hear that you are not getting answers from the doctor. When they say 'muscular' that might be including other soft tissues like tendons. There can be inflammation around the rib cage that is in the tendons and that can take a long time to heal, depending on what the cause of it is.

Have they done any blood tests to check for inflammation?
