hospital appointment

got my appointment tomorrow morning for the pain I mentioned in my breast. Don’t know what they do. I’m soo nervous n want tomorrow to come n everything go well n come home feeling better - being told what it is. Not the C word 😢

Good luck with your appointment. I had a lumpectomy last year, caught early, had to have radiotherapy. It went well thank goodness. You might have a ultrasound a mammogram and possibly a needle biopsy. I hope all goes well for your 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Good luck Junny today. It's understandable to think the c word but for most it's not that. I get pain in my left breast. Found out after ultrasound it is a cyst that flares up. Was told they could sort it if it becomes too painful and constant. But it's still there and I know what it is so I don't worry about it now. Obviously I'd get it checked again if it got worse. When I went the doc examined me then I had an ultrasound to make sure all was well. Xx

Hope everything goes ok for you, never good being in pain. Remember you can ask the professionals what they are going to do to you, never be afraid to ask questions when it comes to your care and if possible, have someone there to hold your hand. I tend to forget what is said to me in the pain clinic as my anxiety levels are through the roof! Fingers crossed for you. x
