Hi
Your gp refers you to the Input pain management clinic at St Thomas's. You then have an appointment with them and they assess whether you are suitable to attend the residential course. I attended in the summer of 2017 and presume the process is still the same.
Good luck.
Hi I was referred by a rather long route. First was seeing the GP for many years, many sessions of physio and injections. I had a couple of MRI done they showed impingement from various joints. More injections with only short term relief. I finally paid to see a specialist who wrote to my GP suggesting I may benefit from implants that act like a tens. He also wrote to At Thomas's. I went to see if I was suitable but unfortunately not however the Doctor I meet with referred me to the Input who later contacted me and found I was suitable for the course.
All rather long winded.
Thank you for this information - most useful.
I was referred to my local hospital Pain Clinic by my GP. The Clinic subsequently referred me to INPUT at St Thomas’.My GP would not have been able to do so direct.
Hello Jaydi Thanks for the information . I'm at Basingstoke pain clinic at the moment
