I have been experiencing lower leg aching (mainly shins ) for a couple of months now..Its the kind of pain I used to get if I had been on my feet all day...or dancing all night.!.but it is now constant..it even wakes me up at night...My left leg is worse and it's really debilitating.I am in my early 60s and have age related issues with my knees..(not much cartilage left)..I do a lot of walking and generally keep myself fit..I am taking tablets for hyperthyroidism but wondering if this pain is just wear and tear and what I must accept at my age?.
