Sore iside edge of foot

I have a swollen, red patch on inside of left foot, small graze (about size of 5p piece, very painful, any advice esp. re what to take for pain relief? Thank you

Have had weeks course of anti-biotic, didn't help!

I got something that sounds very similar on my foot when i was taking hydroxychloroquine. It was an allergic reaction. As soon as i stopped the drug it cleared up. Check with doctor

Thanks for reply, not on any immusuppressants but other meds. Thinking back it may have started on the most recent med. Have stopped it anyway as not doing any good Indeed possible allery1

Is it more or less round with a raised edge? That could be ring worm (which isn't a worm) and would need an anti fungal rather than an antibiotic

Thanks for idea but not like ring worm. Still don't think it would do any harm to apply an anti- fungal!
