X Ray results.

I had an xray on my shoulder and got the following results. Not sure what they mean. I called the GP as it said follow up required but she didn't give any indication of what the results actually meant. She just said she is waiting for my ultra sound results first, which I haven't had yet as I am awaiting an appointment.

There is slight superior displacement of the distal end of

the right clavicle in keeping with a mild degree of

acromioclavicular joint subluxation. No widening of the AC

joint or Glenohumeral joint is noted. No acute fracture is

seen. No significant OA change.

So the first bit means that your collar bone is slightly out of place, but that the rest of the joints in that area are okay. There are no broken bones, and any osteoarthritis here isn't significant.

X-rays don't show soft tissue problems, so that will be why the GP is waiting for the ultra sound results. They will give a better idea of what is going on.
