Could this be ovulation pain?

Had an odd pain start yesterday just above my belly button to the right. The pain was sharp, stabbing and lasted for a few seconds. Hours later the same thing happened again. Went to the GP today ad I got a bit worried about appendicitis etc. She ruled that out but today the pain is still there but not as bad and it comes and goes maybe once every few hours or so.

Also noticed I'm ovulating today.

The question I'm trying to ask is if anyone gets a sharp stabbing pain near or above their belly button when ovulating?

Endometriosis or fibroid pain??? My thought.

Sorry to hear you are getting these unusual pains. We aren’t able to give medical advice but would suggest that if it isn’t getting any better that you get back in touch with your GP. Keep an eye out to make sure you don’t start running a temperature as if you do this could mean something more serious is going on and you should get in touch with a medical professional.
