Abdominal swelling with cramps.

Hello,

Would like an advice please ....Noticed this swelling, plus I've got horrible cramps every day ...Called 111 and they said will be contacted by out of hours gp and don't know what to think.....

have they being in touch yet 15 hrs is along time for anyone with those symptoms

Could it be your appendix?

The intestines ( large and small ) are in that area.

Have you started a new medication of any kind?

I’d try drinking kefir and fermented kombucha to help your gut.

Hiya, no it's not my appendix, it's been removed 8 years ago. Just came of tramadol having to take for the last 2 years because of abdominal pain, thanx for your advice

Maybe it’s withdrawal of the Tramadol.

It's definitely a possibility.

Can you get yourself to either your gp ot emergency? It could very well be a hernia but also a torsioned bowel.
