I have been having left side abdominal pain for some time and I had a scan last year and I was told I have gall stones and the gp made an appointment for me to see a surgeon but the appointment was changed to a phone appointment due to covid 19.
The consuLtant Called and said it was unlikely to be gallstones as my pain was more on the left side and middle radiating to the back.
Last week I had more pain especially when I eat be i called the gp and she requested for me to do more bloods and a stool test.I had a stool test before and it tested negative for heliobacter pylori.
Sometime in December 2018 too I ended up in a and e on Christmas Eve with abdominal pain and a ct scan of the abdomen was done and I was told everything was fine.Pancreas , liver only fibroids that had shrunk were seen but I am so worried now. Then an urine test showed blood in my urine and I went on to have a flexible sig cytoscopy and all my kidneys and bladder was fine .
What could it be as going on google everything is pointing towards cancer.I am so scared as I am in my thirties with very young children and one disabled .
What else can I request to be done as the last scan that showed gallstones said all my organs were fine.
What can be causing this pain?

I'm so sorry to hear of the problems you've been having.
I'm inclined to agree that it's unlikely to be caused by gallstones - although I'd be insisting my gallbladder be removed (eventually had mine removed in November after the worst year of my life).
I'd be asking for an MRI. My symptoms didn't go away after having my gallbladder removed, scans and blood tests were inconclusive, only an MRI could pick up a rogue stone that was left behind. I know some people find them scary, I used to be terrified of them but have had 3 recently and now find them very relaxing. Just keep your eyes closed, listen to some relaxing music and breath slowly & deeply. I wouldn't like to hazard a guess as to what's causing your pain but an MRI is the most likley way to find out.
Thanks I will be requesting for that.I have had one before for my lower back when I was having coccyx pain so I am not worried about having one .So do you think MRIs are better than CT scans?I had a ctscan earlier and nothing showed up apart from crystallised fibroids .
I had bad stomach pain while I was on holiday with my husband in December. Everytime I lay down at the end of the day & had to get out of bed then walk about as even sitting was painful. I went straight to hospital from airport as I was screaming in agony. The pain was so bad I wanted to die, they found 2 gallstones stuck in my bile duct & managed to removed. I had 8 days in hospital! My friend has gallstones too but she can manage hers through her diet. If they have already told you that's its gallstones they must have seen them on a scan. I have been advised to have my gallbladder removed but my appointment was cancelled because of the coronavirus. I hope you get a proper diagnosis soon & treatment !🤔🤔😔😔
While you wait to get thoroughly diagnosed, taking lecithin, which helps denature fat, may help your pain. It may be called phosphatidyl choline in the Health food store.
