Can someone help me please. I have a scar from an infection in my Waldeyers tonsillar ring. The infection is gone but the pain is there, especially when drinking hot

drinks, eating sweet things, drinking acidic wine - had it for two years. Give

me relief or give me death! Thanks!

I myself know what foods I can eat or drink, even carbonated water sets it off, but the pain is there also without eating - it comes and goes. The ENT and oral surgeon couldn't even find the scar, a friend found it for me hahaha - he even said he could take a picture for me. But I won't be showing it to the ENT and surgeon because they are obviously hopeless. They offered no relief, so its alcohol and others for me!

thanks - I was reading up on psychic akinesia - this state is reached when a person is conscious but is in such profound apathy that even extreme pain cannot be felt. It aint got that far! - yet.

My Pain specialist has me on Fentanyl 25mg patch every 72hours and Sevredol (fast release morphine 10mg every 4 hours for pain and its taken my pain to 7-10. Was in so much pain I would be unconscious and end up in ICU for 3 days at a time.

yeah, but would nice to have a diagnosis for my pain, the only cure seems to be death, cos its pretty difficult to stick pacthes in the back of my throat. I think I'll book a flight to Wuhan to get final relief.

Maybe seeing someone for a second opinion. Really feel sad for you having all this suffering.Alcohol might numb the infection and a anaesthetic throat spray.

you didn't read my comment - the infection is gone, has been gone for almost two years.
