For those of you who know what’s been going on thought I would give an update:
Third time lucky , I’ve got to have private transport over to the hospital an hour away then then back after the procedure but fingers crossed it actually happens!!
Found out the causes of true cancellations the last two times
1. They “lost” the first request so asked for another to be sent down and the doctor who did it didn’t do it properly
2. The anaesthetist decided at 4 o’clock he wanted to go home so cancelled mine and told no one until just gone 5:15
So now I’m having to go all the way to the sister hospital an hour away to hopefully have it done there today
If not all hell will break loose on them
Wish me luck everyone lol

Wishing you the best and hoping the procedure goes well and is helpful. What are you having done today.? Reading your saga makes me feel fortunate I live in the states and have medicare. No doubt any system can be difficult to deal with. I have chronic pain and heart conditions. I can't imagine putting up with cancellations and the problems you described. All the best.......
By now u probly out of the operating room ..... hoping you can go to a good rehab center with physical therapy! Describe to me the operation please, bc i have a severely pinched nerve from herniated disc and one day, maybe i will have to be operated on.
Im on Medicare, on Long Island, NYS and a supplemental insurance for $160 a month. Good luck. Am sure all went well and u will be rid of the pain!
I have a colonoscopy so really not what your thinking about and I live in the UK we don’t have things like that here. So no unfortunately it didn’t get rid of my pain at it it’s was just an investigation
What causes your hip pain? Mine hurts from the slipped arthritis disk. Im sure they xrayed and did MRI? Pinched nerves send out pain all over the body. I hope you have good doctors, u need a specialist, orthopädist or rheumatologist. Do your blood tests show inflammation in the body? Did they test your kidney function (blood tests), itsallinthehips you poor babe!
Yes it’s been years I’ve got hyper mobility that’s the cause. I have a rheumatologist amoung other specialists. This post is nothing to do with my hip but thanks x
