Severe back pain

Good morning,I'm having mild back pain for more than 6 months but from last week I wake up in the morning,6 o clock even with severe back pain more localised on left side under son area.the pain on so bad that a barely get out of the bed.during the day gets better bit still the left side under son pain remains.i have a CT scan necmxt week for my lumbar area but the pain seems likely worse...today I almost rang 111 but I didn't know what to tell them as the pain is generally spread in my back,and as well I have 10:30 an appointment.As well I have stomach ,bowel problem and lots of blaring plus asthma and a small lung nodule (last year scan )Did Someone experienced something similar?Thank you.

CT scan will not tell you everything you need to know. Only MRI can do that. See a chiropractor. They can help with problems caused by spine and root nerve compression whereas medical consultants generally fail in this area.

CT scan I gather is usually asked for if a a small lung nodule is found.

I 've just checked.Is a MRI scan.Sorry about that.I didn't know which is which.i've noticed that the pain is worse when I stretch that side.i'm thinking that is combined with stomach pain because I feel also that the " soft part " painful..tomorrow I'll have an appointment with gastroenterologist,and I've managed to get a quicker Mei scan on Sunday .hopefully I'll get some answers.

well memoc i feel sorry for people with pain i was taking palexia 200 mg and they did nothing for the pain.i called for an ambulance4 or 5 times each time they did nothing..it was my daughters who came with me as no one really did anything..my 3 daughters made a big differents in my life.i thank them with all my heart as they made big differents doing that..but i try very hard to do the right thing..regards john..
