Help with neuropathy

I have had fibromyalgia since 2004. I have had ups and downs with it. Up until about 6 months ago I had learned to deal with it. I started having problems with my feet and hands which have affected my balance. I fell a little over a week ago. I went to the dr today and he says it is neuropathy. They took some blood to look at what is causing it. I am not a diabetic. They put me on lyrica and cymbalta. Anyone else going through this?

I have had good results with Claritin. Yes, Claritin. For some reason it helps with the inflammation response. Also take Turmeric (1500 mg) per day and that helps with nerve pain/ inflammation as well. Hope you fell better.

I also find anti-histamines help with neuropathy mainly the old formula Benadryl (buy on line)... strange isn't it?

I dont have your condition however i have symptoms exactly like your condition. Nerve pain, burning sensation etc etc. While im waiting for a mri. I have bought a supplement called super nerve power you can buy it on amazon. Its not cheap and it may help. im on my first day of it. Im hoping it will kick in soon

I certainly can relate ! I don't have diabetes but also am dealing with severe neuropathy in my feet ! Walking is just agony any longer. None of my Dr's even try to find the cause...but doesn't matter I suppose . I'm on 2 different Opoids for 5 years now and my pain management Dr. comes up with I should never have been prescribed those to begin with ! Now he is going to take me off them and I'm terrified ! He's been trying all sorts of anti seizure meds etc. I'm so disgusted !

I can't try Lyrica..it's too expensive and not covered by my ins.

I find my balance is getting worse all the time too and feel like im about to tip over many times a day. It's a miracle I haven't yet !

I'm waiting to get into the medical MJ program here in PA. My G I is ca certified prescriber but after a month of trying..I can't catch up with him to help me get my card ! The man is on more vacations than all get out ! Hmmmm...wondering if kick back money from the new Med marijuana is helping finance those vacs. ? The St. is making out like a bandit from it. I can't see me hardly affording the products since it's all going to be out of pocket !
