Hi everyone, I don't no anyone else who may be able to know what I'm going through.

But after my 2nd child something went crack in my bottom area and I couldn't move it healed...and I carried on after a while. Then went on for 4 years with no foot symptoms.

Last 4 years it's deteriorated and I now have suffer with foot pain all day and I now am bed bound had to leave my job. And am so depressed and every move makes me cry. I've just had an MRI for my si joint and coccyx as that's the area the pain is. Dr said the area looks like possible pudendal nerve pain but I'm so worried that I'm not going to improve. Anybody suffering with the same? It's been mis diagnosed for years 😩X

If you look on the ifuse website - (I am absolutely not suggesting this surgery - that would be moronic), they list the clinical tests used to diagnose SI joint pain. It also lists how many tests need to be positive to suggest the SI joint is at fault.

When you said you couldn't move it - neither your SI joint or coccyx should be able to be moved ?

What did the MRI show or not show ? Sometimes a SPECT scan can be very useful.

I think a possible diagnosis - an impression needs to be made and some blocks tried to see if it helps.

Thank you for your reply, I have had a nerve block for the tingling in my foot. And in Jan had a si joint injection. The coccyx does have movement I've heard? When it goes I can't walk and am in so much pain to move. It's been 6weeks now waiting for my results seeing my pain clinic man tomorrow. I will research a spect scan thank you for your advise, I can't even roll over in bed or get to the toilet

Ask pain management consultant to manage pain until cause is found - this is unacceptable.

Rheumatology are usually required to request a spect scan. They inject a dye into you and then scan you, colour differences show the problem. Just a thought may be helpful, maybe not.

Avarose09, Idea to rule out Vitamin B12 and vitamin D. Anything to do with any nerve/neurological pain and foot pain also can be down to vitamin B12 Deficiency, especially if you are depressed and cannot get out of bed.

For joint and coccyx pain check vitamin D, not saying it is as you felt something snap, but my coccyx pain and joint pains were down to vitamin D deficiency.

Vitamin B12 and D often go hand in hand, Didnt know I was deficient in vitamin D and in the grey area for B12 till tested.

Idea to rule vitamin B12 and D out ? amazing what pain and symptoms they can be the cause of.
